PRIVACY POLICY
                                                                               Confidentiality and Privacy Policy

The law protects the relationship between a client and his/her psychotherapist.  Thus Information cannot be disclosed without client’s permission.  However, there are exceptions:    
If client intends to do self-harm and does not respond to therapeutic intervention that ensures safety, requisite lawful measures will be taken exclusive of client’s consent.   
Suspected child abuse, dependent adult abuse, elder abuse, must be reported to appropriate authorities.
If client is threatening serious bodily harm to others - the police and intended victim(s) must be notified.
